In order to achieve its mission and the commitments established in the National Development Plan, the Social Development Secretariat (Sedesol) has several social programs for taking care of your family and the Mexican population that needs most support during all the stages of life, from newborns to senior citizens. DAYCARE CENTERS TO HELP WORKING MOTHERS
Support for mothers by taking care of their children while they work or seek employment as well as help in opening their own daycare centers.
70 AND OVER
Support for adults aged 70 and over living in rural areas so that they can improve their living and health conditions.
RECOVERY OF PUBLIC SPACES
Remodels run-down or abandoned public spaces and returns them to families and residents as safe places for playing, doing sport and socializing.
Supports the population affected by low employment rates or natural emergencies, with a temporary income for their population in projects benefitting families or the community.
AGRICULTURAL DAYWORKERS SERVICE
Benefits migrant agricultural day workers and their families with various forms of support, actions and services that improve their living and working conditions.
Supports people, families, social groups and producers that need resources to implement their productive initiatives and create sources of employment and income.
Improves the quality of life of the inhabitants and residents of urban neighborhoods by supporting projects to improve infrastructure and the environment.
DEVELOPMENT OF PRIORITY ZONES
Benefits the neediest families by improving their living conditions through the provision or improvement of basic social services such as safe drinking water, cement floors, ecological stoves and housing.
3X1 FOR MIGRANTS
Supports initiatives for migrants living abroad that wish to improve the quality of life in their communities of origin through productive or infrastructure projects.
SUPPORT FOR REGULARIZING HUMAN SETTLEMENTS
Provides families living in irregular settlements with economic support to help them cover the cost of regularization to obtain title deeds for their property.
